That sent alarm bells ringing and I googled the site and came across these reviews. I noticed the timestamp discrepancies also.

She even disapproved of one of the messages I sent her, staying true to the character set up in her bio. But when I look at our conversation as a whole, I see right through her.

Whelp, I signed up on this site, and within an hour I had my first hit. I accidentally propositioned her for inappropriate things my first message. She then said in Russia, traditionally one buys a ushanka for his partner before such activities took place. So she was totally Russian. She used a fake picture, but it was okay because man, she was hot. Give or take a few days and we declared love, played some ridiculous rounds of dead by daylight, and now I am pretty sure I will lose a kidney to her in the near future. Russians, am I right?!

I saw mysecretfling.com as a pop up I think ? last December 2017. Thinking it was just another dating website I joined posted a photo and wrote a profile. Before I knew it I was receiving emails from all over Australia, from women some mostly complaining they wanted to cheat on their husbands as they weren't happy with the sex anymore. I was receiving emails from women saying how handsome I looked, they wanted to meet me explaining how they wanted to be romanced or just jump straight into bed, some asked me if I wanted to have sex with them while their husband sat in the bedroom and watched me having sex with his wife. I contacted a few attractive single women at a cost of about $ 2 Aud per email I corresponded with a few for a while some just completely disappeared, removed their profiles. Another few when I wanted to meet them refused and said I hope I understand but they would like to get to know me better first so they can trust me. A few women I recognised when I first joined, and saw their profiles again were now living in another part of the country. Some women even wrote to me and abused me for not writing to them and helping me with their supposed marriage breakdown. Others wrote to me and abused me for not replying to them and said if my profile was inactive that I should remove it. Others asked me if I am really single ? Which I stated in my profile that I am single, others wrote to me and exclaimed no way I don't actually live in the city where I have lived for 9 years and why haven't they seen me around ? The whole site is just a big waste of money. Don't be foolish and join thinking you will meet a nice woman, or have sex. I don't know where the company is that runs this site is based but I think the site should be closed down and the people that run it sent to jail. When they say they need Credit Card details to verify your age is over 18 - Think about it - How? As I understand People under 18 can legally have a credit card or Visa Debit Card in Australia. Banks are never going to give them your personal details. They are already facing so much shit from the Banking Royal Commission, they would not be game to make it worse for themselves. They only need your credit card details to rip you off.
Pre-paid visa gift cards - These are available in $50, $100, $200 values and can be used anywhere in Australia. I use them for Family Gifts and most transactions I conduct shopping on the internet. I have used the $50 gift card to get 3-day passes on some sites, but plan my access in advance. I make a purchase on something I need to reduce the card balance to $20 or less, then use the card to gain the 3 or 4 short passes for sites I want to check out.
Once the card balance reached zero, they cannot access any more funds.

I tried zoosk after I quit Sensual seekers. Not much better in many ways.
I dont feel i was scammed, but it it cost me $35 for an exploratory month sub. It took me a week to cancel that.
First, their matching system kept matching me with women that just didn't fit my interests, worse they were basically the same types....and none matched my saved search criteria.
Then i realised that i wasnt getting any responses to the messages i sent to those i sought out, maybe some were fakes or inactives, but i sent a lot of messages, all to different women, and nothing...now i dont expect to get a reply for every message, but you send enough messages and surely someone is going to say something eventually.
Then i realised that if they were not subscribed, they couldnt reply. i could find no way of determining if a member was subb'd or not, nor if they were active.
I need feedback, in fact...a dating site is about communication. Getting no response consistently feels, as i have said in another review, unnatural. I found it creepy, not to mention depressing.

Ok, so I tried to buy three credits, each of which is one message. SS wouldn't accept my card, possibly a good thing.
Got hardcore (security context not sexually) on my profile and the messages sent to me, screened again for obvious scammers.
Read terms and conditions...where I found in section 8 their disclaimer on 'Fantasy Profiles' (to encourage socializing, and conduct social research?!)
Realized that anyone that I may spend cash to contact could be a fake bot.
Soooo, I have adjusted my profile to aggressively screen out bots where possible, provided a secure email address just for SS, so any real ladies can contact me for a face to face midday coffee in a public space.
I'll keep an eye on that and see how it goes, but to be honest, paying per message when a bunch of them will be 'fantasy profiles' really gets to me (i cant verify, but of over 500 messages, only about 100 felt remotely real, and of them only about 20 showed any signs of having read my profile).
Maybe if they refunded money spent on contacting their fakes it would feel less like a scam...

Review about SensualSeekersI have given my address (town only) so that the lovely ladies know where I live. It would be appreciated if the ladies would supply only the town or district for their site as I find it fruitless to chat with someone in Queensland when I live in Cranbourne Victoria. I find difficult when it is suggested that i don't reply to someone whom it is impossible to meet. Hope you can rectify this problem. I love this site and delete others that try to connect

Review about SensualSeekersResponses false said they had seen my photo that i didn't post. Found at least six women same photo different state, was married , then single don't waste your time or your money i spent hours checking data i figure 99% bull dust.
Not quite a scam
Review about ZooskI tried zoosk after I quit Sensual seekers. Not much better in many ways.
I dont feel i was scammed, but it it cost me $35 for an exploratory month sub. It took me a week to cancel that.
First, their matching system kept matching me with women that just didn't fit my interests, worse they were basically the same types....and none matched my saved search criteria.
Then i realised that i wasnt getting any responses to the messages i sent to those i sought out, maybe some were fakes or inactives, but i sent a lot of messages, all to different women, and nothing...now i dont expect to get a reply for every message, but you send enough messages and surely someone is going to say something eventually.
Then i realised that if they were not subscribed, they couldnt reply. i could find no way of determining if a member was subb'd or not, nor if they were active.
I need feedback, in fact...a dating site is about communication. Getting no response consistently feels, as i have said in another review, unnatural. I found it creepy, not to mention depressing.
So in less than a week, i have ditched zoosk and in their feedback form suggested they allow non-paying members one free response to each paid member, and some ways they could limit even that.

Have to pay more on top of subscription to be able to find out if your messages are even being read.

Review about SensualSeekersWell, at first SS seemed ok, got plenty of hits, spent a weekend first screening out those who obviously didn't read my profile page. then tried to message a few prospects, instant demand for money.
Ok, so I tried to buy three credits, each of which is one message. SS wouldn't accept my card, possibly a good thing.
Got hardcore (security context not sexually) on my profile and the messages sent to me, screened again for obvious scammers.
Read terms and conditions...where I found in section 8 their disclaimer on 'Fantasy Profiles' (to encourage socializing, and conduct social research?!)
Realized that anyone that I may spend cash to contact could be a fake bot.
Soooo, I have adjusted my profile to aggressively screen out bots where possible, provided a secure email address just for SS, so any real ladies can contact me for a face to face midday coffee in a public space.
I'll keep an eye on that and see how it goes, but to be honest, paying per message when a bunch of them will be 'fantasy profiles' really gets to me (i cant verify, but of over 500 messages, only about 100 felt remotely real, and of them only about 20 showed any signs of having read my profile).
Maybe if they refunded money spent on contacting their fakes it would feel less like a scam...

Review about F-BuddyDon't waste your money . Stole 3 months of subscription against my will . Just under $300 . Single man , I have a disabled son at home and money is so needed for his car . I pleaded for the money to be returned because I didnt tick a box . Pleaded many times but these people are not nice . Fake profiles everywhere. I hope the people cashing in on this rubbish site will have Karma dealt one day
